Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK)

Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) is a horizontal, internationally oriented higher education institution, with 6,300 students and 400 experts. SAMK is one of the 26 universities of applied sciences in Finland, with the eighth-largest number of students. SAMK offers education leading to a Bachelors degree to full-time students in youth education, or in addition to a regular job flexibly in adult education. SAMK shall promote the following programs:

  1. Exchange students for study periods
  2. Exchange students to participate in internships and work experience programs.

Studying exchanges may be for one semester or one academic year. Participation for short intensive periods is also encouraged, and the exchanges may be accompanied with practical internship periods. SAMK agree to provide a transcript at the end of the period of study, giving detail of the courses studied and grades and credits awarded.
